Ignatian Spirituality

Focused on Finding and Seeing God in All Things
At Ignatius House Jesuit Retreat Center, everything we do is based on Ignatian Spirituality and the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius Loyola; a journey in meditation, praying the scriptures and finding God in all things.

Ignatian Spirituality sees God as actively involved in the world and intimately involved in every place and moment in our lives –- always inviting us to an ever deeper walk.

Through our Silent Weekend Retreats, our Special Audience Retreats, our Days of Reflection, and even the Spiritual Direction that we offer, the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola enable men and women of faith to contemplate the life of Christ, his passion for God and mankind, and his resurrection from the dead.  In addition, the exercises allow all of us to consider  creation, sin, repentance, and redemption and how they relate not only the Jesus’ life but to our own.

Through prayer and discernment, Ignatian Spirituality and the Exercises allow each of us the opportunity  to realize and surrender to God’s great plan of salvation in Christ.
