Weekend Retreat: Two Paths to Contemplative Prayer – Spiritual Wisdom from St. Ignatius and Thomas Merton
July 15 @ 6:00 pm - July 17 @ 12:00 pm$305
Directed by Carl McColman
Retreat leader Carl McColman invites us to draw closer to God through silent, restful prayer and contemplation. We’ll look at two great teachers of Christian spirituality: St. Ignatius of Loyola and Thomas Merton, and we’ll explore how they offer two different, but complementary, approaches to contemplation. Together, Ignatius and Merton invite us to find God in all things, to be still and know and to discover the love of the Holy Spirit hidden in our hearts.
The $305 fee includes a private room and bath, delicious, healthy meals and access to our 20-acre forested campus and private walking trails.
This is a silent retreat. Guests are expected to maintain a sacred silence throughout the retreat, including at meals, unless otherwise noted.
