Marian Monahan is a spiritual director, retreat facilitator, and religious educator. She holds a certificate in pastoral studies from Loyola University, New Orleans (LIMEX) and a certificate in spiritual direction from the Ruah program (2002). She earned her B.A. in religious studies. Marian also has been trained as a professional life coach through CTI, Coaches Training Institute.
Marian is involved in the Ignatian Spirituality Project, a Jesuit ministry that offers overnight retreats and days of reflection to homeless men and women in addiction recovery, and serves as a volunteer chaplain at City of Refuge for Mercy Care.
She and her husband Bill, a retired permanent Deacon, worship at the Shrine of the Immaculate Conception and are involved in its night shelter footcare ministry. They reside in Cumming, Ga., and have five children and seven grandchildren.
