2-Night Recovery Retreat: “I can’t, you can, I think I’ll let you.” (Steps 1-3)
June 24, 2022 @ 6:00 pm - June 26, 2022 @ 12:00 pm$305
Directed by Fr. Peter Fink, SJ
No one wants to be a failure, yet if you are powerless and unmanageable, failure is just one word to describe the feeling. All your own resources are gone. But look beyond yourself. See a sponsor who can lead you to a new start. Read the Big Book which provides both wisdom and witness. Find in our fellowship a new way of mutual support. And see in them all a presence and power of one higher than yourself, who will bring you to a free and sober life. This retreat will help us listen to the many sources of grace outside yourself to guide you to the freedom and wonder of sobriety. Says God: “Call me what you will, but let me draw you into sober freedom.”
IMPORTANT NOTICE: This retreat is not suitable for anyone in acute withdrawal. Please consult a behavioral health hospital. This retreat serves those seeking ongoing motivation for sobriety maintenance.
This is a silent retreat. Guests are expected to maintain a sacred silence throughout the retreat, including at meals, unless otherwise noted.
