December 17 @ 6:00 pm - December 19 @ 12:00 pm
$200
Directed by an Ignatius House Pastoral Team member
Come to Ignatius House Jesuit Retreat Center for this Recovery Retreat and encounter God. The natural setting of Ignatius House, located on 20+ acres above the Chattahoochee River, will fill you with the peace and silence we need to replenish ourselves. Walk the nature trails alongside and above the river or simply sit in the presence of God’s creation. This is a silent and reflective retreat open to men and women of all faiths who are in a 12 Step Program.
Based on Ignatius of Loyola’s Spiritual Exercises, you will receive a series of presentations that can be used for reflection and prayer; the silence and beauty of your surroundings will help you slow down, listen, rest, and pray.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: This retreat is not suitable for anyone in acute withdrawal or initial stages of recovery. Please consult a behavioral health hospital. This retreat serves those seeking ongoing motivation for sobriety maintenance.
This is a silent retreat. Guests are expected to maintain a sacred silence throughout the retreat, including at meals, unless otherwise noted.
