2-Night Women’s Advent Retreat: The Sounds of Christmas
December 2, 2022 @ 6:00 pm - December 4, 2022 @ 12:00 pm$305
Directed by Sr. Susan Arcaro, r.c.
T’is the start of a new liturgical year! With it come the sounds of music across the waves of technology that tell the story of Emmanuel, God-With-Us. The songs we hear have been sung for centuries. We’ve memorized them; we sing them. Are we, however, mindful of their origin, message and call? During this retreat we will reflect on and pray with select Christmas Carols with the hope of deepening within us a renewed appreciation for a tradition we hold dear to our hearts and pass on to future generations.
This is a silent retreat. Guests are expected to maintain a sacred silence throughout the retreat, including at meals, unless otherwise noted.
