Cura personalis is a Latin phrase which means “care for the whole person”. This 2-night retreat is designed to do just that through prayer and meditation, movement and silence, rest, and delicious healthy food. Yoga sessions will be designed for all levels by our Registered Yoga Instructors, Mark and Kimberly.
This is a silent retreat. Guests are expected to maintain a sacred silence throughout the retreat, including at meals, unless otherwise noted.
Mark Dannenfelser, MA, LPC is Founding Director of the Mindfulness Center of Atlanta. He is a Certified MBSR Teacher (Center for Mindfulness at the University of Massachusetts Medical School), a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC-GA), a Certified Spiritual Director (Spring Hill College), and a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200). Mark is Adjunct Lecturer in the Graduate Theology program at Spring Hill College and is the Contemplative Outreach commissioned presenter of the Centering Prayer method for the Aquinas Center of Theology at Emory University.
Kimberly (Kimi) Nettuno, RYT, along with her oldest daughter, Hannah, owns Trinity Movement where, with over 800 hours of yoga training combined with a Certificate in Spiritual Direction from Spring Hill College and her continued studies there to earn a Master of Theological Studies, she brings the beauty of Eastern and Western spirituality together in the practice of Christian Yoga. Kimi believes that we are all unique, created children of God. She instructs others to connect with this truth by becoming aware of the breath – the living, moving Spirit within. In this simple act of breathing, we recognize God is always with us and begin to find God in all things.
