Book Club Fall Read: “Dusk, Night, Dawn: On Revival and Courage” by Anne Lamott
Celebrate Autumn in community with a fun, inspiring book that’s perfect for the season of changing light and shorter days. Marian Monahan will lead a 5-week dive into Anne Lamott’s newest book, Dusk, Night, Dawn: On Revival and Courage. From the cover: “Lamott shows us the intimate and individual ways we can adopt to move through life’s dark places and toward the light of hope that still burns for all of us. Full of humor, honesty and humanity this new book is thoughtful and comic, warm and wise”. Medicine for the mind and soul!
Meet Tuesday mornings, from 10-11:30am beginning October 5 through November 2, in the Schroder House on Ignatius House property. Regrettably, this meeting location is not ideal for those with mobility issues due to steep terrain and stairs. Due to COVID safety precautions, attendance will be limited to 14 people and masks will be required indoors.
Cost is $60.
Please purchase the book in advance; a reading assignment will be sent out ahead of the first session after registration has closed.
