One Day Retreat: Introduction to Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction
June 3 @ 8:30 am - 3:30 pm$115
Directed by Mark Dannenfelser, MA, LPC
This day of reflection will introduce you to the practice of mindfulness meditation which uses evidence-based mind-body practices, informed by ancient wisdom traditions and supported by modern scientific research to decrease distraction and stress, and help increase optimal functioning. The day will combine brief presentations, discussions, mindfulness practices, some silence, and free time to enjoy the beautiful grounds.
“Come, not to discuss the words of others, but to listen…for in the sacredness of every moment Divine Grace is telling you alone all that is required.”-Jean Pierre de Caussade, SJ
