ONLINE Class: Healing Divisions – Ignatian Dialogue Skills for Engaging in Polarized Times
September 26 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm$75
Facilitated by Brent Anderson, M.Div., BCC
St. Ignatius invites us to the spiritual practice of “finding God in all things.” That can be quite difficult when we find ourselves in the midst of conflict and struggling to maintain authentic connection with others who see the world very differently than we do. This class equips us with concrete skills not just for “getting through” conflict and difficult conversations, but experiencing relational flourishing through them. It is grounded in neurobiology, social psychology, and empathy studies, along with formational principles from the fields of chaplaincy, spiritual direction, and Ignatian spirituality.
Each of the 2-hour sessions present dialogical techniques in engaging, humorous, and accessible terms, and contain dedicated time for practical application and small group work that help participants integrate the techniques.
TWO ONLINE SESSIONS: Sundays, September 26 and October 3, 2021, from 4pm to 6pm
Brent Anderson, M.Div., BCC
