COVID-19 Property Policies

Planning to Attend Ignatius House?

Review these COVID-19 Guest Guidelines

Ignatius House respectfully requires:

You may not attend if:

  • you are awaiting COVID-19 test results and results remain unknown at the start of your retreat;
  • you have been knowingly exposed to, or lived with, someone who has had COVID-19 during the 5 days prior to your retreat;
  • you’ve been exposed and you have an incomplete isolation period of 5 days;
  • you have COVID and you have not yet tested negative, or
  • you have traveled internationally within 10 days prior to your retreat at Ignatius House.

Refer to the CDC guidance about isolation and quarantine periods. A credit to join us at a future retreat will be issued, valid for 12 months. Please refer to the Payment & Cancellation policy.

Help Us Protect Each Other

1. Wear a Mask.  2. Wash Hands Frequently.  3. Remain on Property during your Retreat.

The CDC recommends that all individuals wear a mask, regardless of vaccination status. Masks are required inside Ignatius House facilities for all activities. We continue to limit total occupancy to help you self-distance from others.

How We’re Protecting You

  1. Staff are vaccinated and wear masks at all times.
  2. Attendance is capped below maximum occupancy to allow extra space among individuals.
  3. Guest room assignments are rotated to maximize time between use.
  4. Guest rooms are cleaned using commercial-grade cleaning chemicals and best practices from the hospitality industry.
  5. Linens are cleaned using a commercial-grade solution and high heat.

How You Can Protect Yourself

  1. Self-monitor your health. Stay home, or go home, if you don’t feel well. A credit will be provided for unused portions of a retreat.
  2. Wear a mask indoors at Ignatius House. (Masks are not required when alone in your guest room.)
  3. Wash hands frequently and maintain good hygiene while at Ignatius House.
  4. Choose to dine where you are most comfortable — with or away from others inside, outside, or alone in your room.
  5. Provide accurate contact information so we may reach you should we learn of any guest who may have increased your exposure.

How You Can Protect Others

In addition to the above,

  1. Arrive on time so as not to miss an important orientation to your Retreat.
  2. Remain on property while on Retreat. Everything you need is here!
