Guided Retreats

Discover guided silent retreats and days of reflection at Ignatius House. Pray, rest, and renew your spirit in a serene setting near Atlanta.

If you are yearning to unplug, be still, and pause your daily routine — if just for a day or a weekend — then attending one of the most profound silent retreats in the US at Ignatius House is for you.

Just minutes from Atlanta, our guided retreats offer time for prayer, reflection, rest, and renewal. These retreats are typically organized around a specific theme, with a retreat director offering input through presentations to help orient your private prayer time. Most guided retreats also include daily Mass, optional opportunities for the Sacrament of Reconciliation, and the chance for a brief one-on-one conversation with the spiritual director.

Whether you join us for a few hours or a few days, most guided retreats are held in a sacred, silent environment to foster deeper listening to the movement of God in your life.

Single-Day Retreats

Our Day of Reflection retreats offer a perfect opportunity to pause and reconnect with God amid your busy schedule. Led by our pastoral team, trained spiritual directors, or guest speakers, these single-day retreats include guided talks, quiet prayer time, and lunch in a serene natural setting. Topics may be seasonal, related to a historical figure, or designed for a demographic group. Past offerings have included Ash Wednesday, Advent, and Care of Body, Care of Soul. Spend a day immersed in prayer and reflection, and return to daily life refreshed and renewed.

Weekend and Overnight Retreats

Our Weekend and Overnight Guided Retreats provide a longer, more immersive opportunity to slow down, pray, and reflect on what matters most. Set against the quiet beauty of Ignatius House’s 20 acres, these multi-day experiences offer compelling spiritual themes, inspiring retreat directors, and a balance of guided reflections and silent prayer. Retreats include comfortable accommodations, all meals, and time for personal journaling, walking our trails, and private reflection.

These retreats allow you to live your life forward with greater intention by reflecting deeply and prayerfully on where you have been, where you are, and where God may be inviting you next.

Semi-silent retreats for mindfulness, couples, art or yoga may follow a different schedule.
