Come to rest and renew your heart, mind, body, and soul on a silent, guided weekend retreat at Ignatius House. Embrace the peace and beauty of our surroundings, designed to nurture your serenity, help you slow down, listen deeply, rest, and pray. Throughout this weekend, you will spend time with the God of your understanding alongside others who are ‘trudging the road of happy destiny.’
The retreat offers a series of reflections that draw on the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius and their connection to the spiritual journey of 12-Step recovery. Together, we’ll explore prayers from the Big Book, including the Serenity Prayer, the 3rd Step Prayer, the 7th Step Prayer, the Prayer for Peace (11th Step), and the 12th Step Prayer.
Participants are invited to maintain a sacred silence throughout the retreat, including during meals, creating space for deep reflection and connection.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: For those in acute withdrawal or the early stages of recovery, please consult a behavioral health professional before attending. This retreat is designed for those seeking spiritual support for ongoing sobriety. If you are uncertain if this retreat is right for you, please consult with your sponsor.
