Weekend Ignatian Retreat: Mary Magdalene - The Apostle to the Apostles

Back by popular demand! As a friend to Jesus, an important figure in the resurrection story and a woman of great faith, Mary Magdalene has so much to teach us. Sarah Otto, Fr. Bill Noe, SJ and Kimberly Nettuno, MTS, RYT, will share how this incredible woman can help us all grow in freedom, develop intimacy with Christ and cultivate the courage to be witnesses in the world. This retreat includes at least three guided presentations, topics to contemplate and pray upon and plenty of unscripted time for rest. Come rediscover not just your best self but your truest self – as God created you to be.

This is a silent retreat. Guests will be supported in keeping a sacred silence throughout the weekend, including at meals.

About Sarah Otto, M.Div., Kimberly Nettuno, MTS, RYT and Fr. Bill Noe, SJ

Sarah Otto, M.Div., is a Jesuit-trained retreat director and spiritual director who completed her Master of Divinity at Boston College. She studied theology as both an undergrad and graduate student. Her passion has focused on the intersection of faith and justice, which led her to study in El Salvador. Sarah spent a year in the Jesuit Volunteer Corps, serving men and women experiencing homelessness in Portland, Ore. Sarah has worked as a hospital and prison chaplain and most recently worked in college campus ministry for five years, both at Providence College and as director of a Newman Catholic Center in Chico, Calif. As a mom, Sarah is particularly passionate about ministering to women and families but continues to enjoy helping people discern how to live a faith that does justice, as well as discovering the unique and creative ways God works in everyone.

Kimberly (Kimi) Nettuno, MTS, RYT, journeys with others in the practices of yoga, meditation, discernment, and spiritual direction. With over 1000 hours of yoga teacher training, a certification in Ignatian Spiritual Direction, and a master’s degree in Theological Studies, Kimi invites others to journey within where God’s presence resides.

Rev. Bill Noe, SJ, a member of pastoral team and former electrical engineer from Washington, D.C., entered the Jesuits in 2003 and has offered spiritual direction across the U.S. and abroad. He recently earned an MA in Pastoral Mental Health Counseling from Fordham University.
