Step away from the pace of everyday life and enter two days of quiet, rest, and prayer. This self-guided silent retreat offers the gift of unhurried time to reconnect with God, yourself, and the beauty of creation.
Whether you come to pray, reflect, read, walk the wooded trails, journal, or simply rest, this retreat invites you to receive the grace of silence in whatever way you most need. There is no scheduled program, allowing you to shape your retreat around your own prayer and rhythm.
From Friday evening through Sunday at noon, you'll be surrounded by the peaceful beauty of Ignatius House's 20 wooded acres overlooking the Chattahoochee River. The retreat is held in complete silence, including during meals, with our staff gently supporting the sacred quiet that makes deep listening possible.
Your retreat includes a private guest room with an en-suite bathroom, all meals, beverages, and snacks. Come away for a few days to unplug, slow down, and make space for God. Sometimes the greatest gift we can give ourselves is the freedom to be still and simply listen.
A Note About This Retreat: Because this self-guided retreat begins while another silent retreat is already in progress, there will be no opening orientation or gathering on Friday evening. Instead, retreatants will check in quietly and receive a welcome letter with everything needed for their stay. Individual spiritual conversations will not be available during the weekend. However, retreatants are warmly invited to join the optional Sharing of Graces on Sunday morning with those participating in the concurrent three-night retreat, should they wish to do so.
