Join us for a serene, silent retreat that invites you to reflect on Pope Francis’ powerful call to care for our common home, as expressed in his 2015 encyclical, Laudato Si’. Our world is full of beauty and gift, yet also in need of healing - and this retreat offers a sacred space to pause, listen, and renew our hearts and minds in God’s presence.
Rooted in the Ignatian tradition, we will explore creation spirituality from the Old Testament through the Gospels, blending ancient wisdom with contemporary insights. Through prayerful reflection on Laudato Si’ and the practice of the Ecological Examen, we’ll be gently guided to notice God’s presence in creation, become more aware of our relationship with the earth, and discern how we are being invited toward an ongoing “ecological conversion.”
Step away from the noise of daily life and enter into the silence of this retreat, where nature, scripture, and stillness open a path toward deeper gratitude, reconciliation, and compassionate care for God’s creation. Together, we seek renewal—not only for ourselves, but for our shared home and the generations to come.
This is a silent retreat. Guests will be supported in keeping a sacred silence throughout the weekend, including at meals.
