Intertwined: Ash Wednesday Day of Reflection

Entering the season of lent, invites us to step into a contemplative spirit as we embark upon the road to calvary with Christ. On this day of reflection, you will be invited to step away from the stress and noise that is a reality of the world in which we live and into silence. We will be invited to pray with the words, "From dust you came and to dust you shall return." The invitation will bring us to meditate upon the cyclical nature of life as we begin to close out winter and notice the incoming signs of spring beginning to sprout. Let us notice the way nature enters this season with us. Preparing us for the season of mourning within intertwined with the knowledge that there is a deep joy to come in the resurrection of Christ and the promise of a life beyond death.

This is a silent retreat. Guests will be supported in keeping a sacred silence throughout the retreat, including at lunchtime.
