The Garden Within - An Embodied Journey into the Presence of God: An Ignatian Yoga Retreat

Deep within each of us lies a sacred place where God continually waits to meet us. Yet the pace of life, the noise of the world, and the stories we carry within ourselves often make it difficult to notice that presence. Through gentle yoga, embodied prayer, reflection, and silence, this retreat invites participants to slow down and rediscover the wisdom of the body as a pathway to prayer, awareness, and encounter with God.

Drawing inspiration from the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius, participants will journey through movements of self-awareness, relationship with Christ, healing, and renewal. Together, we will explore the body as a sacred meeting place where God’s love already dwells and where deeper awareness can lead us into greater freedom, intimacy, and trust. No prior yoga experience is necessary. Whether you come seeking rest, deeper prayer, greater self-understanding, or simply space to listen, you are invited to enter the garden within, where God has been waiting for you all along.

Please bring a yoga mat, journal, water bottle, and any props that support your practice. While a limited number of mats and props will be available, participants are encouraged to bring their own items, such as blocks, straps, blankets, bolsters, cushions, or other supports they regularly use. The retreat is designed to be accessible to all experience levels, and participants are encouraged to honor their bodies’ needs throughout the weekend.

This is a silent retreat. Guests will be supported in keeping a sacred silence throughout the weekend, including at meals.

About Kimberly (Kimi) Nettuno, MTS, RYT

Kimi Nettuno is a spiritual director, retreat leader, and embodied prayer guide who helps others awaken to the sacred Presence already alive within them. Rooted in the wisdom of Ignatian Spirituality, embodied movement, and her unique reflection known as Your Creation Theory, Kimi accompanies individuals and couples as they discover the voice of God in their own stories.

She holds a Master's in Theological Studies, is a certified Ignatian Spiritual Director, and has over 1,000 hours of awareness-based movement training. She has served as a teacher and guide in Diaconate Formation and has crafted deeply transformative programs that integrate Scripture, the Psalms, the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius, and reflective practices that unite body, mind, and soul.
Kimi believes that true discernment begins in the quiet soil of the soul - in The Garden Within - where we learn to listen, rest, and respond to the God who lovingly created us. Through one-on-one spiritual direction, embodied prayer sessions, online reflections, and immersive retreats, Kimi invites others to explore the movements of God in their lives and to step into greater spiritual freedom.

Her work is a tender, transformative invitation: Come as you are. God is already here.
