Easter Appeal 2026

A Place to Begin Again

This Easter, help preserve the quiet spaces where people come to rest, heal, and encounter God.

There is a gentleness to Easter that invites us to begin again. The Alleluias return. Light breaks through. And we are reminded that new life is always possible.

At Ignatius House, that renewal often begins outdoors - along wooded trails, in the stillness of the trees, in the quiet places where retreatants begin to breathe again and notice God’s presence.

One retreatant recently shared:

“Here I was able to connect with nature, let outside noise fall away, and heal. The retreat offered me a profound peace and divine rest. I finally breathed easily after so long… I am still in disbelief that places like these exist.”

This is the gift of Ignatius House.

For 65 years, these 20 acres along the Chattahoochee River have held space for prayer, silence, and transformation. Thousands have walked these trails—step by step—finding clarity, healing, and hope.

But these sacred grounds require care.

Recent storms have caused erosion along our 1.5 miles of trails. These are not just paths—they are places of prayer, reflection, and return. To continue welcoming retreatants, we must restore and stabilize the trails, tend the trees and native plants, and care for the outdoor spaces that hold so many sacred moments.

Help Us Restore These Sacred Grounds

Our goal this Easter is to raise $30,000 to repair and preserve the land that makes this ministry possible.

When you give, you help:

  • Restore and stabilize walking trails
  • Care for trees and native landscape
  • Maintain outdoor prayer spaces
  • Preserve a place of silence, rest, and renewal
