Celebrating 65 Years
As we approach the Feast of St. Ignatius on July 31, we do so with especially full hearts, as this year marks the 65th Feast Day celebration in the history of Ignatius House.
For 65 years, Ignatius House has offered a sacred place of silence, prayer, healing, and encounter with God. Generations of retreatants have walked these trails, prayed in these chapels, wrestled with life's biggest questions, and discovered—in the silence—that God was speaking to them all along.
More than five hundred years after St. Ignatius invited people into sacred stillness, and 65 years after Ignatius House first opened its doors, the world is noisier, faster, and more fragmented than ever before. This ministry matters more now than ever.
This year also marks a significant moment in the life of Ignatius House. Thanks to the extraordinary generosity of our supporters, we recently opened The Upper Room and the Marilyn & Donald Keough Center for Spiritual Wellness—the most significant expansion of our ministry in decades. These new spaces allow us to welcome more retreatants, offer more spiritual direction, and serve more people seeking healing, discernment, and renewal than ever before.
As we begin this new chapter, we are inviting our community to help us raise $130,000 during the month of July to sustain retreats, spiritual direction, scholarships, recovery ministries, hospitality, and the sacred spaces that make encounter with God possible.
Gifts of all sizes make a difference! Thank you for the many ways you walk alongside this ministry. Your generosity sustains this sacred place for all who come here seeking God.
