Ignatius House to Receive 2026 ISP Company of Grace Award

April 07, 2026

Ignatius House Jesuit Retreat Center has been named the 2026 recipient of the Company of Grace Award from the Ignatian Spirituality Project (ISP).

ISP is a national Jesuit ministry that brings the gift of Ignatian spirituality to people recovering from homelessness and addiction. Through retreats and spiritual reflection circles in more than 20 U.S. cities, ISP creates safe and sacred spaces where people can tell their stories, rediscover hope, and encounter God's healing presence.

Ignatius House has been part of the ISP family since 2007, when we held our first ISP retreat. The partnership reflects a deep alignment between Ignatius House's values of hospitality and welcome and ISP's ministry of spiritual companionship.

The Company of Grace Award is named after the first lay companions of St. Ignatius of Loyola, who dedicated themselves to serving the spiritual and material needs of the poor. Since 2013, ISP has presented the award annually to recognize outstanding champions of its mission.

"Ignatius House has created the kind of environment where ISP's mission doesn't just operate — it flourishes. The hospitality, the spiritual depth, and the commitment to welcoming all people have made Ignatius House a model for what this work can look like when a community fully embraces it." — Christine Curran, Executive Director, ISP

The award will be presented at ISP's annual Company of Grace event on April 23, 2026. Please join us for this free event via livestream. Register today at ispretreats.org/cog.
