Day of Reflection: The Three Days - Stepping Into the Mystery

At the heart of the Church’s worship lies the Sacred Triduum—that is, the Three Days—Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and the Easter Vigil. The Triduum provides a unique opportunity to step into the mystery of Jesus’s Passion, Death, and Resurrection, and to contemplate it as it unfolds over the Three Days. This day of reflection invites us to enter more deeply into the Triduum liturgies as a means of deepening our intimacy with Jesus of Nazareth, whose real humanity hides his divinity for a while, until it is gloriously revealed through the holy effects of his Resurrection.
