This 5-hour Day of Mindfulness includes silence and extended practice. It is designed especially for those who have had some prior experience with mindfulness practice. The day retreat is an opportunity to deepen your mindfulness. If you have previously taken the 8-week MBSR course or have participated in a mindfulness retreat weekend or 5-night mindfulness retreat, please join us for this one-day refresher. In addition to deepening your own mindfulness, your presence will support the participants who are currently engaged in the 8-week MBSR course. The day is modeled on the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) principles developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn at the Center for Mindfulness in the University of Massachusetts Medical School. This Day of Mindfulness will be conducted as a live remote retreat.
