This retreat is especially for women who desire to embrace the path of life leading them home to God and their true selves. Using Scripture, the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius and Joyce Rupps' book Dear Heart, Come Home for for prayer and meditation, we will reflect on the heritage of our lives in the past , embrace life more fully in the present while patiently waiting for the treasures in the unknown future.
This is a silent retreat. Guests are expected to maintain a sacred silence throughout the retreat, including at meals, unless otherwise noted.
About Sr. Susan Arcaro, rc
Sister Susan Arcaro, r.c. shares the Mission of the Cenacle Sisters with adults at Ignatius House and in parishes of the Archdiocese of Atlanta as a spiritual director, retreat director, educator and facilitator of faith enrichment programs. She serves as an adjunct lecturer in Spring Hill College’s Certificate in Spiritual Direction program, a two-year program for women and men discerning a Call to the ministry of spiritual direction. Her special interests include RCIA, church history, children’s spirituality and sacred liturgy. She holds a B.A. in Education from Assumption College in Worchester, Mass., and M.A. in Spirituality and Spiritual Direction from Fordham University, and a diploma from Association Montessori Internationale.
