Start of the 8-Week Fall Book Study: Sacred Fire - A Vision for a Deeper Human and Christian Maturity

September 8 to October 27, 2026

Please join fellow seekers in an open and welcoming community as we read Ronald Rolheiser's Sacred Fire. If you've read The Holy Longing, you already know why Rolheiser is such a beloved spiritual writer. In Sacred Fire, he invites us to take the next step on the spiritual journey, exploring a vision of mature discipleship and the lifelong call to give our lives away in love. As the book's subtitle suggests, it offers "a vision for a deeper human and Christian maturity"—a hope many of us share and one our world deeply needs. We hope you'll join us for this enriching journey.

This eight-week book study will meet on Tuesday mornings from 10:15–11:45 a.m., September 8 through October 27, 2026. Sessions will be held in the Cenacle Conference Room (formerly the Trinity Conference Room) inside the Center for Spiritual Wellness at Ignatius House, with the exception of September 22, when the group will meet virtually.

Participants will receive a reading selection each week. Please purchase the book on your own in advance. Advance registration is required as space is limited.
